This means that our residents can “age in place’ by accessing higher levels of care as their needs change. INDEPENDENT LIVING
Independent Living residents enjoy comfortable, spacious suites along with use of all facilities and participation in all programs and activities. They are free to enjoy their retirement without the responsibility of day-to-day chores such as meal preparation, cleaning and laundry. At the same time, residents and their families have the “peace of mind knowing” that help is always available should they ever need it.
ASSISTED CARE
We also provide a comprehensive package of Assisted Care in a self-contained unit with its own dining room, lounge and amenities. In consultation with the individual’s physician and family members, our Director of Care will prepare a detailed Care Plan covering medical needs, as well as well as one-on-one assistance with bathing, grooming, morning and evening checks, help getting to and from the dining room, etc.
MEMORY CARE
Our secure Memory Care unit has specially-trained staff and is designed to provide the best possible care for seniors suffering from Alzheimer’s and various forms of dementia. We offer state-of-the-art facilities, including a multi-sensory Snoezelen Room to create a stimulating, but stress-free environment through the use of soft music, special lighting, different shapes, textures and colours.
Residents can also enjoy an activity program tailored to their needs, and amenity space which includes a safe, secure outdoor patio, as well as a comfortable lounge.
